Before your LaseMD treatment, we conduct a detailed consultation during which Dr. Lucija Grittern analyzes your skin and develops an individual treatment plan. We discuss your skin needs, possible contraindications, and your personal treatment goals.
On the day of treatment, we will first thoroughly cleanse your skin and disinfect the areas to be treated. Depending on your sensitivity to pain, we can apply an anesthetic cream on request, which takes effect in about 20-30 minutes. This ensures that the treatment is generally painless. During the preparation phase, we will work with you to select the optimal Cosmeceuticals tailored to your specific skin needs. The actual LaseMD treatment takes about 30-45 minutes and is carried out in several steps. Under the supervision of Dr. Grittern, the team systematically guides the laser over the areas of skin to be treated, adjusting the intensity individually to your skin texture. During the treatment, you will feel a slight warmth, which most patients find pleasant.
The fractional thulium laser creates thousands of microscopic channels in your skin, through which specially selected Cosmeceuticals are then introduced.
