During this consultation, our expert will analyze your facial structure, discuss your wishes and expectations, and explain the possible risks. On the day of treatment, the skin is thoroughly cleansed and disinfected. Local anesthesia is usually not necessary, as the needles used are very fine and the injections are generally perceived as painless.
The actual Botox® wrinkle injection takes about 15 to 30 minutes. Dr. Lucija Grittern injects the Botulinum toxin into the relevant muscle areas with the utmost precision. The injection sites are carefully selected to achieve a harmonious and natural result.

After the Botox® injection, you can leave the practice immediately and are socially presentable. Slight redness or minor swelling at the injection sites is normal and usually subsides within a few hours. Botulinum toxin relaxes the muscles and is suitable for expression lines. Hyaluronic acid, on the other hand, fills in volume and is used for deep wrinkles or to build up facial volume. Often, both methods complement each other perfectly.
The effect lasts for about three to six months. A refresher is recommended as soon as muscle activity and thus wrinkle formation increases again. Regular treatments can prolong the duration of effect.
